WYN X LOFT 88
"Een Italiaans wijn-spijs diner
Wat een avond! Woensdag 23 september organiseerden wij samen met LOFT88 een bijzonder Italiaans wijn-spijs diner, met niemand minder dan Claudio Zappi, vertegenwoordiger van Produttori di Manduria.
Vier gangen, bijpassende wijnen en natuurlijk de verhalen achter de wijnen zorgden voor een avond waarin Puglia centraal stond. Van de eerste slok tot het dessert: iedere gang werd gecombineerd met een wijn van Produttori di Manduria en Claudio nam ons mee in het verhaal achter het wijnhuis, de streek en de wijnen.
Een avond zoals we die bij WYN graag organiseren: goede wijn, goed eten en vooral samen genieten.
Een grote dank aan LOFT88 voor de fijne samenwerking, Claudio voor zijn enthousiasme en natuurlijk aan iedereen die erbij was.

A special South African evening at WYN with Clint Veale from Anysbos, who personally introduced our guests to the story behind this remarkable winery from Botrivier, South Africa.
During the tasting, we explored a selection of Anysbos wines while Clint shared his knowledge of the vineyards, terroir and philosophy behind the wines. He spoke about the influence of the cool climate, Botrivier’s unique location, and the choices made both in the vineyard and the cellar.
From refined, characterful white wines to elegant Grenache and distinctive blends, it was an evening filled with South African wine, personal stories and knowledge shared directly from the winery.

During Wijnfestijn Leiden, WYN presented a selection of exceptional wines from our South African portfolio. It was a vibrant day where visitors had the opportunity to discover, taste and explore a variety of wineries and wine styles.
We look back on a successful wine festival filled with great conversations, new connections and, of course, plenty of wine. A wonderful opportunity to share the WYN experience beyond IJsselstein.

“An evening when Piedmont came to IJsselstein.”
A special evening at WYN: Valter Fissore, winemaker and owner of the renowned Elvio Cogno winery, came to our store in IJsselstein to personally share his wines and expertise with our guests.
During this exclusive tasting, Valter took us on a journey to Piedmont and the hills of the Langhe. Through a selection of Elvio Cogno wines, he shared his insights into the terroir, vineyards, grape varieties and the philosophy behind the winery.
From characterful white wines to the refined Barolos from Ravera, each wine was personally presented by the man who makes them. A unique opportunity not only to taste exceptional wines, but also to experience the stories, knowledge and passion behind every bottle.
